Global cooperation in dignity and fairness

In 2015, the United Nations adopted 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs), to make our planet more liveable for all by 2030. At the same time, Pope Francis speaks in the encyclical „Laudato Si“ about burning issues such as environmental and climate protection as well as unjust distribution of resources. The agenda for humanity, the 5-point plan of the world summit on humanitarian aid, summarizes the measures needed to alleviate humanitarian needs. It seems we have come a few steps closer to our goal of overcoming hunger. But currently unfair conditions, hunger and war are still part of our reality.
